The UK has both, you can buy digital tickets, you can buy tickets online and pick them up at the station, you can buy them on the digital machines at the station or at larger stations you can buy them at the service desk at the station.

There have been other attacks in the past that would meet that bar, the first that comes to mind is WannaCry - seeing as it disrupted the NHS.

I knew about the HiSense eink phones before, but this one makes me particularly sad. This would be a great device for me if it was well supported in North America. Alas…

You can get some relatively affordable 10G-BaseT SFP+ transceivers these days too. My home server has a DAC to a switch whilst my desktop is connected at 10G over Cat6. I don't really have the ability to saturate 10G but can quite easi

The printing machinery is quite unfortunate. Beyond being large, dynamic dispatch makes any attempt at stack size analysis much harder. I’ve used Rust for some embedded side projects and I really wish there was a way to just get some unique

Canada introduced new regulations in response to cases like yours [0]. It required some persistence but Air Canada did abide by the regulations in my case last year. My flight from Vancouver to Toronto was delayed by a couple hours and I mi

Typed notes have never worked for me. In university I used a Surface Pro to take notes with OneNote, which worked decently well - and I could link other resources, search, etc. These days I just use a regular notebook. I've been tempte

I've had a Cooler Master tenkeyless for nearly 10 years and I still use it. I have had to repair a couple solder joints over time however.

That's great, but it's absolutely not high DPI. iFixit estimates the pixels per degree (ppd) of the AVP at ~34 [0]. A MacBook Pro at 20" is over 90 ppd [1]. A 27" 1920x1080 display at 22" would match the AVP at 34pp

I wish everyone would offer in-band ECC. I would generally be happy to pay the memory cost to get ECC. At least AMD allows you to use ECC memory with desktop parts, Intel still use it for market segmentation.
