100% this. I would so love someone artistic to have created my book cover, but the book was a passion project for me to make a Sci-fi book my daughter would have liked, and is being sold for $0 so paying anyone was outside my budget. I have

I'd upvote this just for Musk finally being honest about something, i.e. its low bandwidth restrictions. Still it's going to be a godsend like me who does a lot of hiking in remote areas to have SMS.

Yes it does as they cannot do any welding to ping the dents without isolating the HV which requires training and certified shops. All EV's have the same issue.

Not just higher profits, but if you are self-published or have no reviews yet then your book is usually on the 400th page on anyone's search. I have still told nobody I know about my book, it's kind of an experiment, because it wo

I did not know that and does kind of explain one book with pictures that looked a bit weird. On the whole though, text epubs are totally readable as I get most of my books from non-amazon sites such as smashwords and email them to the kindl

Chrome opens the html pages fine once the epub is unzipped. Some epubs may however have DRM I dont have any of those but they probably wont work.

epub is just a collection of zipped HTML, CSS FONTS and images and as bog standard as you can get. You can open it with a Zip extractor and see.

Good to know that as a self-published author myself that the quality of any site is going to drop as soon as I put my book on there. Every other book I read now is by an author with NO rating, I have read six this year, none were memorable,

I email epubs to my kindle frequently and they open and read just like any ebook. I last tried this a week ago and it was fine.

As Tesla 3 owner with a $4000 bill for a scrape under the passenger door at 1MPH navigating a tight carpark I will tell you there are definitely a few more things they need to get right.

Apologies as I got a bit drunk last night, so a bit of light reading to start 2024 which hopefully my website (which enjoys about 1 visitor a week) can cope with. Happy 2024 to humans and AI's alike!

The first Turbo Pascal IDE, with compiler and debugger, ran as a .com file so all the code and data had to fit in a 64KB memory segment.

Coming up for retirement and I have made a nice business using Delphi; it's been the right tool for the right job and that is developing Windows programs. I understand why Embarcadero did it, but for the dozen people who actually use D

Went to buy it but unfortunately it is not a cheap read even as an ebook especially considering the book is 60 years old. Luckily my library has a one I can pick up tomorrow.

Just a thought but if its 48V and its ethernet I wonder if it is using power over ethernet?

by boznz 3y ago
Correct neither CAN or Ethernet say anything about IP ratings, but I guess having an ethernet switch as a distribution rather than everything on a chain restricts the failure to one device.
