I don't understand the objection. We are un-terraforming Earth now. Terraforming it back is worth is basically no matter the cost, since the alternative is to not have a livable Earth.

It sounds like they tried to achieve their goals not by making a game that people wanted to play, but by resurrecting The Mythical Man Month and not only believing that this zombie anti-science idea works, but that it could produce a massiv

Cladistically you can decide: a) There are fish. Sharks are fish. Trout are fish. So therefore humans are fish as we are more related to trout than we are to sharks. This is basically saying that "fish" is roughly the same as &quo

You lost it a bit at the end with women and men. Those aren't phylogenic groups, so not even closely related to the concept. It's a bit like saying "there's no such thing as granite" because not all granite is the p

You've got that exactly backwards. Humans say "fish" and "tree". That's the entire point of the article.

Sure. But it's like... the LLM is a tool to super charge your human association thinking. It's not a search per se, and every time you get the correct answer that's just happy accident (although I realize it happens a lot ).

The European tornado models have been superior to the US models for a long time, and the US has relied on them heavily. Not sure if the European models use the data from those satellites though, probably.

A good rule of thumb: if your math makes Palestinians out to be 6x the victim compared the the numbers of hamas , your numbers are just wrong and you shouldn't be screaming murder, you should rethink your math.
