Weird. You seem pretty bad at searching: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Units_to_Aid_Producti... > The ages of the inmates ranged from 16 to over 60

I mean, if your argument is that sanctions never work and are useless, then that's a position that we can argue, but I guess that means you also would support lifting all sanctions against Russia, Iran, Afghanistan, etc?

The default on iOS is pretty bad for example. Hidden hitpoints all over the card is obviously bad. And like the article states: no way to just go through all cards regardless of deck is kinda silly and annoying for no reason.

Blaming Cubas struggles on the US without acknowledging that Cuba, for example, has labor camps for children, is kinda silly imo. It's a brutal dictatorship very similar to Iran. Let's all keep that in mind.

Or free apps that are supposedly too similar to some other apps that they can't name and that doesn't seem to exist (my personal story).

If Python produces less hallucinations it's not because of the syntax, it's because there's so much training data.

Not the comment that you replied to but I use my own Urd. It's a fancier Cron that you can stop fast. Which is imo what you normally want. Task queues are like email. It's what everyone is used to so people ask for more of it, but

I tried django-q and I thought it was pretty terrible. The worst was that I couldn't get it to stop retrying stuff that was broken. Sometimes you ship code that does something unexpected, and being able to stop something fast is critic

I had a situation this weekend where Claude said "x does not make sense in [context]" and didn't do the change I asked it to do. After an explanation of the purpose of the code, it fixed the issue and continued. Pretty cool.

I think the buffer size is the limit on what they check for malicious data, so the old 128k would mean it would be trivial to circumvent by just having 128k ok data and then put the exploit after.

I don't think "persuasion" is the key here. People change political preferences based on group identity. Here AI tools are even more powerful. You don't have to persuade anyone, just create a fake bandwagon.

Is it silly though? With enough linguistic archeology I bet you can make this entire comment I'm writing right now extremely problematic and offensive. The linguistic treadmill means exactly that older terms change meaning back in time

I did this with my entire employment at a company I worked with. Or rather, I should say I made it a point to ignore the roadmap and do what was right for the company by optimizing for value for customers and the team. Fixit weeks is a band

There's a bar going from the front wheel axis to the saddle. The only way that wheel can be twisted is if that bar allows in-axis rotation. That's now how steering on a bike works.

The "failed to read file"/"failed to write file" errors that are constantly being displayed is the most glaring imo. I even get it in the interactive web version of claude.
