It’s an expression that is equivalent to “declining numbers” or “fewer and fewer”

It’s boring to play CoD instead of Factorio?

How would you describe Bluesky's crowd vs. Mastodon? I found the latter great for finding interesting developers, musicians, artists, etc. My X is full of people having constant meltdowns or who are just always fighting others, no one

by bowsamic 2y ago
I'm not really sure what the benefit of BS over Mastodon is anyway. Everyone interesting is on Mastodon
575.
by bowsamic 2y ago
I don't see why that's relevant to the ban
576.
by bowsamic 2y ago
If it’s banned for everyone, how would adults be able to buy them for children?
577.
by bowsamic 2y ago
Huh? This is a ban for everyone, not just children
578.
by bowsamic 2y ago
Of course there are attempts and opinions but I'm pointing out that there is absolutely no consensus

> I've never seen a satisfactory definition of what a particle is as defined by modern field theory. Quantum physics PhD here. It's because, we don't know. We don't have an ontology for quantum mechanics. We don'

Why, though? Isn't it actually a good suggestion?
581.
by bowsamic 2y ago
Is it? I thought you were being serious

No end user understands URLs this way. Unless Firefox teaches them this, then this is nonsense

At least it’s optional in the uk if you don’t have a tv. In Germany you have to pay it no matter what

Honestly I'm totally on the side of the hackers in all this. The IA is the most important thing on the internet and the fact it has such bad security is absolutely inexcusable. Thank you to the hackers for bringing attention to this

> There are many things that the UK does better than Germany but trains they manage to do even worse The trains are better in the UK than in Germany
586.
by bowsamic 2y ago
My feeling exactly, doesn't sound like enjoyment screaming but like total hysteria
587.
by bowsamic 2y ago
Well you have made it instantly clear you have no idea what you're talking about
588.
by bowsamic 2y ago
So a platform is a failure unless it appeals to zoomers?
589.
by bowsamic 2y ago
Very difficult to enjoy with all the screaming

> Didn’t this start as unlimited anywhere for 9 euros no strings attached? No, you could never use it on IC or ICEs
591.
by bowsamic 2y ago
I visited the UK, which is my home, and the UK train system was amazing. Got multiple tight connections with zero delays. Far better than I’ve experienced living in Germany

We have control though, it isn't 100% the environment. Imo that's just used as an excuse
593.
by bowsamic 2y ago
I just calorie count. It's very easy and effective
594.
by bowsamic 2y ago
I don’t think loving art is easy at all. I still haven’t completely learnt how to do it

Modular synthesis usually has a lot of modulation capability though
596.
by bowsamic 2y ago
But typically modular synthesis allows you to modulate almost any parameter
597.
by bowsamic 2y ago
I always thought this software was weird. To me modular implies parameter modulation for sound design, but this seems to be designed around sequencing fixed sounds, or am I missing something?
598.
by bowsamic 2y ago
Dexed is good but it's primarily a DX7 including all the weird preset algorithm choices and that's not really necessary if you aren't using DX7 presets. It's a DX7 emulator, not really jsut an FM synth for its own sake l

by bowsamic 2y ago
Yeah I'm kinda surprised that there are so few good FM synth plugins. They must be out there but just hidden. FM8 is all I can really think of

I love FM synthesis and I love Robert Henke. Great article
