Why is that a better metric? There are levels of correctness. Do you sincerely believe that each article you read will push you backwards in knowledge? Even an untrustworthy source can contain valuable information; just ask an historian. Th

Surely the metric should be "Do they know more than me?" Or are you concerned that you'll move towards the apex of the Dunning Kruger chart?

A friend and I were concerned that Vimperator would die with Firefox 57, so we made our own version [1]. To our delight, it mostly works and has a few users. [1]: https://github.com/cmcaine/tridactyl

I think the authors would argue that the statistic tells you more about the situation where there is a gun in the room, a toddler, and an adult who looks a bit foreign. Who should you be more worried about keeping the gun away from?

Have you looked at Qutebrowser if you want a standalone browser? Other options for Vim-like web extensions are Saka key, Vim-Vixen and Tridactyl.

I can't answer for the heavier weights, but lighter font weights can look dreadful on low PPI displays (e.g, desktop computers).

We're nowhere near the theoretical limit. Biological brains are much more energy efficient (up to 100,000x depending on who you ask) than our current offerings, and beyond that one can make an entropic argument as to how much energy in

Have you heard of the GPD pocket [1]? It's not so far from what you describe, although I often find myself wishing it had an extra inch or so: the keyboard is pretty cramped. [1] https://www.windowscentral.com/gpd-pocke

The aspiration is to get it in for FF58. I suspect progress will improve once 57 is out of the door - I think Mozillians are pretty busy right now. Congratulations on releasing v1, by the way.

Ok, but then you're so far into pedantics that I'd suggest that you can't mathematically prove anything either, because you're using your brain to do so, which might be suffering from some flaw that stops you from realis

No, you can prove things wrong. In fact, a lot of science is in making sure that your claims are falsifiable. E.g, "the moon is made of cheese". cf. Bertrand Russell's teapot.

The whole point of the economy is to allocate our scarce resources in the way that maximises the benefit to society. Automation is a way of reducing costs; it is a way of making our scarce resources go farther. On the micro level, it is a K
