I once witnessed something similar. Deep down in the repository code there was a field marked `static`, which should've been an instance property. The value would be overwritten by the last user to access the repository; so this result

There are two aspects that are currently adressed by https: identity and privacy. What I’m proposing does indeed only solve the privacy aspect. And for some use-cases, that’s fine. Not all use-cases (e.g. your bank), and we would still have

Another reminder that we should fight for encryption by default, without requiring a validated certificate. Just self-signed like most end-ro-end encryption schemes. For such sites, browsers could not display a padlock to differentiate them

I immediately wondered the same, and I think not. The upper wings are not at a 90 degree angle to the body, so alive and well. Apart from being a black and white drawing of course.

I guess the same holds for Azure DevOps plugins, over which users don’t even have control over the version used. So what’s preventing plugin owners from doing something harmful?

A sample output (either XML or JSON) is not a substitute for a specification. Looking at the XML when a list has only a single element, you wouldn't know if there could be more. You need an XSD to accompany the XML, which is what is ty
