I'm so excited about this. Having wasted lots of time migrating Shopify to use npm for JS package management, it seems that yarn fixes everything that had been a nuisance with it. Woo!

ES6 only defined syntax for modules, it didn't define a way to load modules, that's a different standard

`defer` mostly makes sense when there's multiple exit paths (returns) or if there's a chance any of the code panics. Neither is the case in this instance, so just doing it like that is fine. There is also a slight overhead for def

Ego is as fast as it gets for tenplating, as it compiles the template to Go code. It probably doesn't matter that much performance wise in this case, I would've used it either way.

I know this doesn't help you, but the best fix for this would be for App Engine to implement letsencrypt support directly, so they can automatically provision and renew certificates for anyone that uses app engine
