There is a way to make piracy obsolete which almost happened in France: the Licence Globale. https://fr.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Licence_globale (content in French). The concept is to allow the exchange of copyrighted cult

You're just not the target audience, they make it clear that it's a device in its early stage of development. The goal is clearly to build a community that will help building an open-source ecosystem around this kind of device.

I hope AWS will provide some explanation about those issues and what actions they will take to prevent those in the future On our side we saw some EC2 VM totally disconnected from the network in 3 AZs.

Issues are across all us-east 1, not one AZ. Load balancers are not doing well at all. The only way in this case to avoid an outage is to be cross regions or cross cloud which is quite more complex to handle and require more resources to do

I don't know why you're getting down-voted, it's a legitimate question since the main page doesn't mention wine once. It is a Wine frontend though, seems to also integrate wine-tricks for dependencies, DXVK and other thi

I would definitely refuse that. If it's a deal breaker, you can turn the demand around though, by asking what are the actual requirement for the SOC 2 certification to be met and, if possible, metting those in a way that works for you.

Exact opposite from me. I just cannot use windows anymore. Windows 10 feels like windows xp with adwares pre-installed.

Screensharing is getting there. On firefox it works out of the box. On Slack as well. On chromium it's still hidden behind the flag: chrome://flags/#enable-webrtc-pipewire-capturer On Zoom it's more complicated. For

It does sound a lot like GPU hangs and it is hardware specific so it's most likely on the driver side. I had the exact same issue than you had with my igpu a while back (something like 2 years ago), there was a bug in Intel's driv

Is it this issue? https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/intel/-/issues/4653 Intel tends to break randomly its Linux driver for some of its gpus, it's quite annoying.

Can't agree more. Creating and sharing content in a decentralized way is exactly what the web is about from its inception. The only change that occured in the era marketed as "web2" is strong attacks against decentralization.

What are you talking about? Lots of languages and frameworks make it easy to be self-hosted with there own server. In Python, .net, Go, Rust this is quite common. This means that your app can be a self-contained app + server and the server
