I don't live in Europe. I still believe GDPR is god send. I just send a chat-gpt generated e-mail to the company to forget me citing GDPR and voila it just works. just have to lie as bit that i am a resident of EU though.

Yes, something along the lines could work. But I am not sure if the above query itself would work if rows are appended to the table in parallel. Also if events for a partition gets processed quick would the last partition get an equal chanc

How could I solve the problem of in-order processing based on a key using skip locked? Basically all records having the key to be processed one after other.

We use postgres jsonb and have search built 30 million/~100-500 kb records. Only GIN/GIST indexes are possible, if we want to anything special(Search/send events if that is edited) at a deeper node of jsonb, the team prefers

Skip locked is useful till you have to maintain order for a group of messages with some "group_id", so that set of related messages are sent one after the other. Then you probably have to write complicated queries or use partition

A lot better too. Rewe has ton of options and quality food compared to billa. But I think the supermarkets in germany are better than anywhere else in EU.
