In case people don't know, this is often referred to as a "projectional editor" and the paradigm is also known as "Intentional Programming" in the sense that the programming environment helps capture the intent of t

I've seen that phrase in other places in its general form it just says "adults are just grown-up kids" or something like that. And I tend to agree with it.

I believe technically it "computes" the private key on the fly as you need it (it's derived from the master key plus other factors to make it unique per site/user).

I'm a fan of it but I doubt it will gain traction just because it's a little unfriendly for businesses dealing with average Joes who can't be trusted to take full responsibility.

I wrote an almost identical comment to yours last time there was some discussion about SQRL and Steve and someone mentioned the same thing (your comment is more complete). I think people have just bookmarked that page and copy-paste it as s

It's not that simple. It needs an app to store/manage your identity. It is however a protocol so it's possible to have many different clients for it.

The problem is the businesses want to have their cake and eat it too. Damned if you do damned if you don't. If you don't focus on edge cases then later it's your fault for being sloppy. If you focus on edge cases you are &quo

You could also say that the observations that you point out is simply the outcome of economic forces at play. That degree of professionalism is not rewarded enough. Or the lack of it is not punished. So from the perspective of a business pe

Consulting can sometimes be arguably worse than the job in that aspect. At least with a salaried job some ups and downs is expected, with consulting if you are charging by the hour people demand value by the hour. I was thinking more in ter
