I think this is a positive move for Microsoft. In particular, having all OS development work (including desktop, phone and XBox) looks like a good idea, as I've heard there have been a lot of problems with Windows Phone being managed

There is nothing new age about Goenka meditation courses, and it's definitely not a resort. It's 10 days of hard work, but it's well worth it. It's also purely donation basis (you donate at the end, and it's optio

I'm so glad to see .deb installers alongside the tarballs, I've usually resorted to using third party repos for ST2 installation. It's really great to see a developer treating Windows, Linux and OSX all as first class targets

If you are a developer billing that much per hour, then it is undoubtedly worth it. For hobbyist programmers and people just getting started, however, it's a bit more uncertain. It's the age old question of how to price a product

Well, at least this design is a lot closer to current Android and WP8. When developers designed specifically for iOS and then ported to Android as an afterthought, the results often looked completely out of place. I'm hopeful that it

> Macs have never been marketed as an X (M|G)hz machine with Y (M|G)B RAM. Not quite true, I don't think. Around the late 90s, early 00s there was a lot of marketing around the high Mhz of the Mac CPU compared with PCs - and argume

The audiobook version of this is excellent, read by Wil Wheaton. One of the best books I've read in the last few years, and also one of the most entertaining audiobook narrations.

If this article is accurate - and that iOS 7 has so much eyecandy that it will only work on the latest high end hardware - does this mean that a low end budget iPhone is off the table? Or is this Apple's way of segmenting a high end

Maybe we need the "Herd immunity" of a large number of people using encryption software. If a sufficient number of people are using encryption, then targeting those users becomes less worthwhile.

Well for starters, there is a huge fixed banner at the top of the page, and a fixed sidebar. If you are trying to read the page in a windows that is not maximised, then you really lose a lot of real estate.

So what is the point of the once per day online requirement? And what is the point of restricting used games? There are no technical reasons for these (as I have explained in other posts), and so people are justifiably were livid.

I'm saying that's the way it should work. Give the user a disc and an activation code. Activation code becomes tied to the account until traded. Problem solved.
