So I was commenting on the particular technique, To Collect feedback metrics to judge usage and throw resources to optimize rather than blind optimizing every single video. These techniques are very simple but makes sense to use when you ha

So they are using feedback to see how many people are watching a video to use more cpu for advanced compression - There is nothing innovative here - we want to make sure we provide resources to something thats viral and not to all videos, w

1) I had very similar idea, How are you planning to monetize it ? 2) 10 years back I made a similar site using manuals online.com, 3) did you look at react-pdf ?

Why isn't the benchmark code public ? For people to adopt/convinced, they should be able to run the benchmark themselves, and see a similar pattern in the numbers as well.

Something related, I made a DuckDuckGo Images API here - https://github.com/deepanprabhu/duckduckgo-images-api . This gets image search results and can be embedded into other projects !

This is an amazing read. But i think for people to implement, it should be how to crawl billion pages on cheaper boxes, may be spanning to a week or something.

I was working for EllieMae, to build their cloud platform. They were not happy with the performance of the product, though it reduced ops work.

Sorry i did not completely understand your comment. You mean to say, to implement a subset of C. I have already answered that question. Before we implement a real language or a part of it, implementing mathematical expressions has to come i

I would consider Java to be simpler, but i see this is subjective and C seems like a popular language to proceed with. In java most of functionality we need is available as standard library.

Seems like a nice idea. The reason i picked NASM language is its easy to watch your simple assembly code assembled and converted to an executable and actually watch it run ! But I would have this in mind.

You are right, people would be interested to implement a real compiler for an actual language. I have tried it. But when you actually sit down to implement, its atleast months. But if you choose a simple language, you can get the entire co
