Strange that this isn’t higher up in the comments. I just moved to a new area, used my maps for the first few times and now know the local area better than the back of my hand. People just really seem to want to bash map tech for some reaso

The rewards i reap will not be proportional to what i deserve for my efforts. Come to think of it, a lot of people aren’t rewarded appropriately for their work. But why pursue a path of diminishing returns?

I've been thinking about this too. Sorry for hijacking the post but what would it cost, monthly, to have infrastructure capable of dealing with a surge such as a hug of death from HN? Im inexperienced in the area.

I’ve been subscribed for a couple months and it’s been great. A lot more signal-to-noise than most subreddits on the topic. Don’t lose/change the format for most of your newsletters, it’s great as is.

Havent read/seen a lot but from a noob's perspective, node.js docs were an easy read. Git manual online is also easy to navigate but i suppose the simplicity of the tool itself helps.

Keychron K3 and a logitech MX palm rest for support. Palm/wrist rests are underrated. If you buy the K3, don’t get the brown switches, way too sensitive. You get used to it but still.

In your experience, have you ever seen somebody get hired without doing well on the typical leetcode problems? Are FAANG companies completely married to the leetcode interview idea or do they make exceptions?
