Exactly, I don't see the problem? That's cheap. I'm sure when they switch off of lotus notes it'll cost several million.

This is a long, meandering article with a pretty arbitrary notion of "self-made." It wants to lament both how old-school billionaires are getting rarer and decreasing class mobility. Both points are poorly made -- I read through

Huh, I didn't know this. I'm surprised they didn't advertise it harder, it just makes me like them all the more.

Yes, it is probably, "modern kids," who are conditioned to do what they're told. I think you've solved it. Also, they're immature and haven't even lived in the real world until at least 28.

I'm from Pittsburgh. We're doing extremely well focusing on new industries, like healthcare and technology. No one is going to re-open a steel mill.

I'm not sure it's still true, but awhile ago their EULA banned the publication of performance statistics. Be very careful using this and do your own performance testing.

I think it's something more like making this better, not necessarily replacing method chaining. result = exclaim(capitalize(doubleSay("hello"))) and the pipe makes it simpler to read, especially if you're chaining

Seems sort of like how we use "minute" where I'm from. Like, "I'll be there in a minute," could be any moment or five hours from now. A hot minute is more a statement that they're on their way, no indica
