I can't be the only one who finds this and the subscribe animations distracting, to put it politely. I'm sure many here would love to make use of some uBlock Origin rulesets to disable them?

Thanks! In maybe similar spirit, another screwy way to explore terminal IO mechanics I came up with when reading the start of Kernighan's UNIX Programming Environment: Open up three terminal windows: 1) `man ascii` 2) `nc -lvp 90

I'm guessing most those people are just late and came in after the couple "exoduses" of sorts of people jumping ship from Ubuntu to the offshoot projects (Mint, etc.). As far as my memory and perception of the situation go, t

I remember encountering this blog series of Chrome architecture articles[0] and telling myself I need to read through it (and, to date, still never have :) Maybe it is of interest. (Just a heads up, it dates back to 2018.) [0]: https:/

Not really what you're asking for, but Sacramento's "Fix 50"[0] project is a currently ongoing development project where I can offer some commentary as a citizen who has no knowledge or expertise in this field. In total

If you haven't seen it before, you might enjoy Patrick Wyatt's (a lead dev for a time at Blizzard) blog. It is a treasure trove of anecdotes and war stories. https://www.codeofhonor.com/blog/

I want to say I'm astonished by this comment thread, but hey. It's to be expected these days. I would have theoretically said the same thing that the sibling comments are about getting north to be "up". But, that is alre
