Although I am playing around with javascript every day (primarily with a game engine), I'm not sure that I would answer the questions correctly without messing around with the code in real-time.

In terms of stylistics, the initial page sure looks old-school, but I really do love that wormy dhtml5.com effect that follows the pointer.

I have to agree. I bought it after the new year and am having a great time with it. I think the documentation is great and the author seems very committed to doing a fine job and perhaps more importantly continuing with his project.

One reason is to be able to consistently work with the same language both on the server and on the client. In this way one doesn't need to change gears all the time. I do like JS, but I'd rather use Ruby (or language of choice) most of the
