You can also add fake filesystem parameters to the fstab entries that are parsed by systemd. Here the doc on this. You might be forgiven for having missed it. It's under the section fstab. https://www.freedesktop.org/so

Man this one annoys me. I have this server running a docker container with a specific application. And it writes to a specific filesystem (properly mount binded inside the container of course). Sometimes docker starts before the filesystem

I am using pipe wire. The option to select the handset mode is gone! I can only select the various output codecs with my increasing quality. But not the mic & output mode. It's gone from the list...

For my hobby projects I hardware debounce with a single tiny capacitor. The MCU already has schmitt trigger inputs (handles hysteresis). And it also has a high value pull up resistor. The tiny capacitor from input to ground complete the low

Maybe ilit would. Because maybe the pictures might load consistently for once. Instead of this fat mess, where opening the pictures randomly lags, scrolling the page to the reviews is random, and the back button works depending on the orbit

It's happening for me too often the older I get. I remember reading the seniors of my days complaining about it. I guess it's my turn now... As a side effect this reminds me how much I must not know what I don't know. It'

To be clear, I didn't not mean to imply that I find Helm to be good at all. I am with you on all the negatives here. I think the general idea behind kustomize is great. Sadly the execution is a mess of complicated code, with a billion

Note that if you ask the CEO if you, the owner of a project can be accountable for it. They might say yes quite happily. But when you ask for the power to be able to enforce it, they will refuse. You need power to exercice accountability. O

Except that kustomize is very limited in annoying ways. Is very badly documented. And is not the same between the `kubectl apply` and `kustomize`. At the end you will pipe through `sed` anyways.

Accountability is what you are looking for. This is not a technical problem. Try to find out who is accountable. Who gets fired when the software doesn't perform the way it should. Notice nobody gets fired. Because the whole chain of c

I agree with not placing the computer at the center. After all it's a tool. But I struggle with the idea that we can ignore the technical details. After all, even the highest abstraction comes from the physicality of the universe. But

Adding my story to the list. I grew up in France, from white parents, classical music professionals, catholic practicing. With what I now recognize as a posh french accent, that they consciously learned as a way to climb the social ladder.
