One thing that was an eye-opener (to me) is just HOW MANY people that I'd put quite high on the intelligence/worldy knowledge graph had ZERO inclination or propensity to even notice or CARE about the bright red AD box around somet

Jellyfin is nice for various reasons (main for me is play synching) but Apple TV + Infuse + SMB share made something pretty bulletproof and kid friendly even before.

DNSSEC ends up being such a solution in search of a problem. We already know Cloudflare MITMs half the Internet, and now they've developed a way to just bypass DNSSEC, too? What is even the point at this point? It should be filed with

It's one of those "programmer misconceptions" - we want to make reality fit our neat and tidy list of rules/laws/code; but it's the other way around most of the time.

It wasn’t terribly complicated for me but I seem to be built for the old Cisco style iOS. But with an LLM it’s easier than falling off a log and the command line means it can do everything easily.

No joke serious - play GTNH. You can turn off the mobs if needed and the quest book is phenomenal and the feeling of accomplishment is real. And you can stay in steam forever if you wanted.
