Brainstorming some solutions. Maybe a randomized algorithm for ECC. Every so often changes how the ECC is computed? The region nearby where privileged information is stored could have a speed limit on multiple sequential writes? Add blocks

I was talking about previous iterations of facial SR. After the white Obama debacle, researches included skin color as one of the parameters in the cost function.

Using AVX 512 is not suitable for programs that takes very small time to run. There is a penalty in the ms range to "warm up" the CPU (it is more a cool down, actually). As OP stated, the limiting factor is on the memory access. T

Modern x86 CPUs have micro instr caches to store small loops (about 50 instr) and medium loops (~2k instr). Also, the bottleneck is usually the instruction decoding (Alder Lake made huge changes on that, so this might change). In other word

The FAA NORAD tapes from 9/11 is available on YouTube. I found it shocking how unprepared everyone seemed to be. I'm reading the Vanity Fair article, it adds context missing from the raw communication. It helps to understand why i

I think you are spot on. Just want to add that the content consumption was also hindered by the technology. Fun Fact: Vine was created in the same year the first CNN completed ImageNet with (much) higher accuracy than others contestants.
