I like CLAs. If there's an open source project that I love/depend on, I will most likely want to be able to contribute to it for my own personal reasons at some point (e.g. fix a bug that bothers me or add a feature I want). I am

The homepage has a benchmark that compares Zed's "insertion latency" to other editors, and this is the description: > Open input.rs at the end of line 21 in rust-lang/regex. Type z 10 times, measure how long it takes

Google used to be truly great. Their business was inherently evil, yet they were somehow not. They actually did good, and as a naive highschooler with a programming hobby, they inspired me to try to be the best I can at it. But they crashed

This is something I can't live without either. I'd recommend people try this before trying to incorporate fzf, ctrl+r, etc into their workflows since it's simpler and probably covers 99% of your needs.

Who wouldn't want that? Obviously, the average user isn't going to know what to do with it, but other apps/services could use it to transfer data to/from it. Interoperability is always good for users.

The number of emojis in that readme is ridiculous. It non-sarcastically makes me doubt the quality of the project. (although having the repo URL point to a LinkedIn page is probably worse)

I did a similar thing once in Haxe by using macros to annotate members and rendering control widgets in an auto generated debug UI. This is basically what Unity/Unreal/Godot/etc do with their fancy editors. The best experienc
