Something similar happened to me when I ran an Apple II emulator for the first time. Even though it had been years since I last used a real Apple //c, seeing the prompt in the correct font with the cursor blink at the exact right tempo re

I like the image diff stuff a little better than Beyond Compare but not enough to create an account just so I can get a quote to see the price. If you want people to buy I think you can be a little more upfront about your pricing. Just my o

http://cubieboard.org/ has a SATA port but it's not shipping yet. This is a recent post from a blog I read: http://dangerousprototypes.com/2012/10/09/arm-board-comparis... and the linked to chart has SATA as a feature and it seems to b

I don't know why you would want to do this but I upvoted just for the audacity of such a service.

Which reinforces his point for me. I didn't visit the 2nd page due to apathy.

Did you even read his post? This is a key-value DB that he needs 1/2 sec response time to. Glacier is primarily a 'vault' type service where your access time is measured in hours.

IIRC this was a joke patent that they put forward just to see what they could get away with.

A friend from work who gives private swimming lessons at her house was asking my advice for a site/service just like this one. I've forwarded the link to her and I'll post any feedback she gives. I don't have a need for it but it looks nic

Oddly enough, I found out about this restriction just yesterday. I wanted to play around with Google's ngram dataset. Amazon hosts it for free in S3 making it a no brainer to run in EC2 or EMR. Google doesn't have it available in Google C
