Lol okay buddy. That's why there are literally millions of people spending money every month and upgrading because of how useful this is. But there's always some big brained ape on hacker news who thinks they know better and every

ChatGPT, Perplexity and Midjourney are all branded as "AI".

I don't know what the point of your rant was. Nobody is talking about AGI. Even if the technology never evolves again, it's still dramatically useful to the tune of billions and billions of dollars being spent on it.

It's dramatically useful for millions of people who are now much more productive than they were 3 years ago, including the programmers who have 10x'd their output. Your superiority complex is nothing new... anytime new technology

That billions of dollars is being spent on AI? That's a wild claim?

That's demonstrably false unless you believe millions of people are spending their own money every month for useless tech. I don't know how a thinking person can use this technology and not see the possibilities it opens up.

Billions of dollars are being spent on very useful AI. You just notice the shitty ones, but people on HN thinks that's the norm for some reason.

it's a great tool if you aren't an ornery artist who refuses to adapt to new ways and means.

I think that has more to do with the multiple year head start and multiple tens of billions of dollars in funding advantage.

> LLM do the read, analysis and summarization part for the human No they don't. The human is meant to read, analyze and summarize the output same as they would for search results

Two questions: 1) Which search engine comes with infallible information? 2) Where are LLMs being sold as something different?

You can probably sue Open AI for getting bad legal advice from ChatGPT too.

I don't know why HN users in particular fixate so heavily on fringe issues when it comes to LLMs. Same as the exaggerations of hallucinations.

How is that worse, as a VC firm? If I was betting on technology right now, I would bet on SF-in person teams with young founders and a focus on AI. Sounds like the perfect target.

If you know the flight and the date and time you can easily pinpoint exactly where the plane was and where it was heading. Not incredibly challenging at that point to narrow in on roughly where the photos were taken from.

They're at $90M ARR right now and accelerating, so no that's not ambitious. Midjourney is close to half a billion in ARR. Figma destroyed Photoshop & Sketch. Whatever, you have your opinion, none of the facts today support it,

I would assume most non-trans people aren't willing to date trans people, so there's probably a pretty glaring need for them to have their own spaces.
