Considering Sydney is predicted to hit 43C tomorrow (highest was 45 in 1939) we can probably see NSW start to spike soon...

Interesting that they dont have a message like "This page brought to you by archive.org Donate here to keep this page alive" on the archived pages. I dont think people would mind seeing that on the recovered sites. (Unless they do and I can

My friend had his Nexus 7 in his pocket (as he always had done) and just the process of sitting on the couch caused enough pressure to destroy the screen. Google / ASUS provided no support and he just went and bought a whole new device (he

Am I doing something wrong? It plays the beep noises even if I have my phone set to silent (iPhone 4S). I know that Siri works this way as well (which I also find irritating). Why won't it obey my settings!

As an iPhone 3G user previously, this is probably a very good thing. The iOS 4.0 update basically bricked the phone because it just couldn't handle it. I recently found out how easy it was to revert to 3.1.3 and its actually a pleasure to u

If those bridgestone tyres happened to be the ones that came WITH the car as you purchased it, there would likely be strong backlash against Ford.

Sweet, just purchased. I travel internationally quite a bit, actually feeling a bit bummed this didn't exist a couple of years ago :( Hopefully doesn't eat so much battery that my phone dies before the day is over.

Is this your site? The first texture looks like it's broken because there is no border. I thought it wasn't loading at all, but it was just the exact same as the background on the site. Edit: nevermind.. I must have clicked directly on the

Since I decided not to upgrade to iOS6.0 until the maps thing is sorted out, I've been playing around with Cydia today. For people that might be interested in what you can do (maybe haven't jailbroken before...) here's what I did. 1) Downlo

I'm pretty sure that 95% of iOS users don't even know that it WAS Google maps. All they know is the maps on their phone suddenly don't have as much information as they used to. (and hey that new flyover thing looks cool) I don't really see

That would be great as if there was no one servicing your area you could potentially sign up as a 'poster' allowing more remote areas to be connected if someone was available.

It's most likely for the consistency within apps that can rotate to landscape and still have a keyboard displayed. Would you expect the app to then slide to the middle? Or stay aligned-left and make it harder for the right hand?

I'm looking forward to the slightly taller screen. It's always kind of bugged me how you couldnt see full album art + controls, and always felt a bit squished with the keyboard on-screen. Not sure how it will feel in regards to the back but
