Combining a projector with a touchscreen and Android. Sounds like a bad idea until you see the person cooking while scrolling through a recipe on the counter.

Yes besides I would drop all of them. I've been mulling over lately how tired I am of dealing with their behavior: Spying on me, Removing features I need, Dropping support for hardware I use, Anti-user defaults, User lock-in schemes, I

Well as long as you can still install Linux on a server or hobby board there will be some vestige of general purpose computing.

Not only do people in tech misuse the term but they put way too much weight on innovation. Every company innovates. Innovation is not a synonym for revolution. No one buys innovation. NES was just a box to play Mario. Wii was just a box to

It's important to understand that some business decisions aren't based off of money. Sometimes they are based on the emotions of the people working at the company. Like a TV network cancelling a series with good ratings because an

I was just wondering recently why something like this didn't exist when trying to learn about Matrixes via Kahn Academy.

I'd like a small Editor that had autocomplete/follow function etc. for C++. So far Qt Creator is fine but it's hit or miss to get those features working right on each system and it's missing a call tree. Plus, it's

Emscripten is a cross-compiler tool chain. This is a back end for a compiler. Currently Emscripten uses a fork of Clang/LLVM called fastcomp with a ASM.js backend. This is a fork of GCC/Binutils with a WebAssembly and ASM.js backe

Thanks that helps me understand better. I'd like to see a more detailed comparison of WebGPU/Metal/Vulkan in terms of their level of abstractions.

So if it higher level than Vulkan where does it fit in with WebGL? I mean can't you pretty much already use low level GPU tech like Vertex Buffers and Shaders already?

You misunderstand. I wasn't asking what it's called. I was asking if the idea here is a Vulkan like API for the web.
