I contributed inconsequential things to Gitless for a very short amount of time years ago. One of the things that I really liked that I ended up rewriting at home was better highlighting, eg inside-the-line level highlighting like github et

At work I have 30 stashed things some of which go back 2 or 3 years. I got distracted when I pull and forget to pop sometimes, or I was working on something so trivial I never unstashed it. That doesn't seem great... Usually these days

Electron is based on chromium and I want to give non-chromium based things a fighting chance. It also feels like a memory hog and I like running slack in my browser more than as a separate app. tl;dr nonsensical reasons that don't real

I've also moved to firefox across all my devices. I don't use electron apps. I use google search and gmail both personally and at work. I'm not really _trying_ to degooglify, I'm just degooglifying when the chance comes

I've settled on vertical tabs, and use an extension that limits it to the number that fit on my screen without scrolling, which is around 30. I also no longer use bookmarks. I use the browser's autocomplete of sites I've been

I've read a good number of them and enjoyed them, but I don't think he's my favorite author by any stretch. My complaints (which need not apply to others, of course) - A lot of the main characters and plot lines feel the same

Taking a look, it looks like they want to be an identity provider as well as hocking implants. tbh it's kinda weirding me out. Does the more complicated stuff like bank payment require a vivokey identity?

My c is pretty limited and I was able to hack in support for table prefixed columns in result sets over a night or two from never seeing the code base before. It was fun to work with!

No expert in ligatures but from a naive point of view I would assume it's another ligature that takes priority

I'm an American with a chipped hand. It's pretty much useless but I enjoy it all the same. Just a little too ahead of the tech it would interact with. All I want is a reasonable nfc lock that doesn't have shit reviews on Amaz

I work with a huge monorepo and ag/rg are noticeably faster. Might just be the out-of-the-box .ignore support but that's another point in favor. Our complicated ignore rules make ag miss a directory though (known issue with ag) s

I recently hacked at sqlite to support some features I wanted (being able to retrieve same named columns from different tables in jdbc result sets and implementing some mysql functions) and it was not fun. I guess maybe it says something t

My parents told me, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." But here I am responding to your comment anyway, sorry mom and dad.

But wearing it in a holdster is pretty unhip. Is it really worth having the right tool for the occasion if you look like a tool yourself? Obviously you should aspire to be form first, then function.
