MacOS isn't much better. I just tried it myself using fridump[0] and was able to see plaintext secrets when dumping memory. But as pointed out above, if someone has access to dump your machine's memory then you've got bigger

In my experience I spend most of my time in a terminal emulator or a web browser. Windows runs Docker these days, so theoretically you could avoid toolchain annoyance. Windows also has Firefox. But, YMMV (written from a macbook)

I also run a minimal setup in the back of a tacoma. Having a camper that doesn't look like a camper is really nice. Four wheel drive comes in handy and is, imo, prohibitively expensive in vans right now.

You can serve any sort of frontend from Flask. Personally, I prefer Emberjs and have been serving Ember apps from Flask for sometime now. It's as easy as pointing your Flask app's `template_folder` at the compiled frontend folder.

Sad to hear this- I've been a paying Rdio customer for a few years now and have been thrilled with the service overall. Given the alternatives, I'll likely attempt purchasing albums from Amazon, or another DRM-free alternative.
