This is something that bothers me every time I read about a wealthy person/biz doing something for the working poor. It's not that I don't appreciate the actions, it's that I'm uncomfortable with the idea that oliga

I understand your intent and I'm not suggesting you oughta do anything differently, but I am not sure how net good it is that older devs' labor is being sold at a discount. My understanding is that silicon valley hasn't cured

This is probably a myth, but I've heard Kerouac wrote On the Road practically in a single sitting thanks to the peppy magic of Benzedrine, aka Bennies, a _widely_ available inhalant & pill form of amphetamine.

I'm not sure what 'newsworthy' means these days, but I thought it was suitable HN because the point if failure was the user input validations on the website.

My point wasn't that I'd be a-ok in the homeowner's shoes. I'd be pretty pissed off if people rented my place for any business purposes under the guise of tourists. ...Newman.

I think assuming porn production is intrinsically 'dirty' in a way that, say, a cocktail party with 20 ppl wouldn't be is exactly the sort of prudishness you're claiming is irrelevant here. Hell, a family with three kids

Reminds me of one of my favorite Simpsons gags ever. "Marge: [sifting through mail] Aww. A rejection letter from the New Yorker subscription department."

(I'm not affiliated w/ this product at all) this seems un-constructive and mean-spirited. IMO, at the _very_ least, you should offer a reason as to why this isn't your cup of tea.

I had the same problem. I've been doing 100% audiobooks for several years now and I'll never go back. I can work through a regular length book in a week w/ retention on par with regular book reading.
