For all intents and purposes, the fist raspberry pi is pretty much that, except maybe the tailored OS. Although I'm not sure what would even fit between a fully featured rtos and a trimmed down linux.

This reads like an ad. Why would you capitalize it like a product name and then even link to the website? I still have no idea what it really is. From the name I'd think you're going for a run at a local park. The website calls it

I think the bicycle argument doesn't work; you don't learn to ride a bicycle, you train to do it. Knowing how to do it isn't good enough, your conscious brain isn't fast enough to calculate and achieve balance. You need

Well, GCC 15 already ended support for the nios2 soft-core. The successor to it is Nios V which runs RISC-V. If users want us update the kernel, they'll also need to update their FPGA. Microblaze also is a soft-core, based on RISC-V, p

If you're only paying for a couple of those yards, does it matter if the others are literally free or if you distribute that payment to all of them while paying a couple percent each? It's a distinction without a difference.

"Unsafe" rust still upholds more guarantees than C code. The rust compiler still enforces the borrow checker (including aliasing rules) and type system.

I really do wonder who (as in "which packages") still depends on perl. Surely it can't be that many? Edit: On my (Arch) system removing perl requires removing: auto{conf, make}, git, llvm, glibmm, among others.
