Lightning is worse to the point where it isn't even funny - 480Mb/s vs 120Gb/s data transfer - 9V? vs 48V - 2.4A? vs 5A - resulting in 18W vs 240W - proprietary vs open. Youre calling the connector supporting 1

But that's just another bullshit excuse to stay proprietary. SuperVOOC doesn't really do anything special that isn't also achievable using the PD PPS (programmable power supply) specification.

The Galaxy S5 had a replaceable battery and IP67 10 years ago. It's not that hard.

$5 Type c cables also have "circuits" in them. It's not that hard or expensive to implement an e-markee chip.

For pre-Turing closed drivers I'd count that as an unsupported third party, even if the distribution in questions tries to support it.

You can also do that with human drivers and it will work for a while. The question is how often it doesn't work. A single person driving in front of a Waymo a couple of times can't determine that with any statistical significance.

So what you're saying is we should order a bunch of stuff and then cancel at the first sign of a delay in fulfillment so amazon loses more by waiting it out?

AFAIK there are rust libraries that let you build html pages in rust without actually writing html. Something like maud[0] + actix[1] perhaps. That's probably something that is possible in python but I wouldn't dare try in C. [0]
