Please add an alternative sign up that isn't through Google. I don't want to connect my Google to something like this. Allow plain email/password, please.

I could understand that for the code/theme side of things, but they still seem like the best site for things like source graphic templates, logos, after effects/premiere pro video files, etc. I feel like that's going to suffe

This is terrible news. I loved using Envato for quick graphics, or various other design work on side projects. I can only imagine the quality drop when Shutterstock acquires them. RIP Envato, you had a good run. Time to cancel my subscripti

That's fair. That was just poor phrasing on my part. I meant "forever" vanish.

Right, but they pretty much all came back. I'm not saying some don't do the blackout for protests, but none I have ever subscribed to have gone away 100% forever.

I have never seen a subreddit for a game/hobby that I've subscribed to vanish overnight. In all my 13+ YEARS on reddit. EDIT: "Vanish" forever. Yes, there have been protests and black outs, but everything I have ever sub

I don't use reddit for any real news, I just use it for hobbies/interests. Using reddit for news is a terrible idea for all the content farming and spam trash that this post is talking about. That would be like getting your news f

The key to make Reddit still an amazing resource is finding niche subreddits that fit your interests. The very broad subreddits like funny, news, pics, politics (where this is likely from), etc. etc. are all just full of spam, and trash lik

Agreed, the people falling for this would already fall for a much more basic phishing attempt. Thus, the attacker has no need to put this much extra effort/thought into it.

I don't doubt phishing happens. I just think this specific scenario/technique is one that is probably extremely rare. The attacker likely wouldn't put this much extra effort/thought in when their basic attacks already wo

Slightly off topic: Haven’t tried it, but does a simple VPN for the EU allow you to access all these great EU features like 3rd party appstores?

First off, look into how much IP/character design Pokemon stole from Dragon Quest. Pokemon isn't the "og" of this style. Also, the Palworld creator is already known for this style of "rip-off" game. Their other

I think you’d have to figure out a way to “jailbreak” it, if you did. Most (if not all) are locked down via software, and can’t just be used without that aspect.

Just turned it off in my account, appreciate the heads up/post. I can't stand when companies turn this type of thing "on" by default. Apple pulled the same thing with advertising settings a few iOS versions back.

Yeah, I mean I personally do not like Airbnb, but I feel like the "large close friends/family" use case is the only reason to still use them. Sadly there isn't really a good alternative for that. If it's just me and
