In my version of firefox it renders without the css centering, then centers, then makes my browser stop responding, then gives a blank page.

IANAL but according to Wikipedia, being related to the judge is grounds for the judge to recuse him/herself from a case https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judicial_disqualification#Appl...

`gpg` is a command line tool for verifying these signatures and it is what `apt-key verify` uses in it's backend. you can download the signatures with `curl` or `wget`

> To be fair, vim is not strictly vi although they were related. In the same sense, the emacs most people use is not the original one. Everyone uses GNU Emacs or Xemacs.

Pretty sure alan wouldn't have a name consisting of "no name," he sounds more like "TheGreatestAlan" kind of type.

I have not, but I know people who have. They were all pulled over after finishing a bar shift by police officers waiting for people to leave the bar and make a mistake so they had an excuse to pull over a possibly impaired driver.

There are lots of reasons you should not do this, and many blogs with different explanations. https://jordaneldredge.com/blog/one-way-curl-pipe-sh-install... http://output.chrissnell.com/post/69023

I have come to like duckduckgo instead for search. Even when I do want to use google for a search, it's as simple as typing "!g search term" in the bar. I find it nice for searching and then if I don't find what I want I

I am pretty much a novice in program optimization, but doesn't `perf` sample clock cycles? So in effect CPU usage percentage doesn't matter as much since it's not using wall clock time?

Or allow user filters priority on formatting so you can modify the behavior on your own (I guess you already could with greasemonkey or some other plugin). Even with just a toggle for disabling markdown/latex would let you copy and pas

I guess my point is that 1. $equation here$ is exactly the markdown for a numbered list and it will give you somewhat nicer formatting/alignment that stands out if you have to scroll back up. Chat is already in the process of changing,

Why not? At some point in time someone probably said why do you want a smiley face in a chat window? Now there are lots of "emoji" symbols. Pandoc uses markdown with inline latex, it gives you multiple ways of typing things and it

A few of these are good suggestions but I can't live without C-v, whether I am already in visual mode or not. Block selection may not be used that frequently but when it is, it's a lifesaver.

The problem that I have with lisp macros is that the elegance you gain at the syntax level is effectively a tradeoff with pragmatism when other people read and use the code. Java was developed with parts of C++/C as inspiration and par

I find this argument pretty unconvincing too. >For all practical purposes, you can't add that to Java. You'll always have to wrap up your transactions in boilerplate. Aren't you wrapping the lisp code in boilerplate when d
