Your childhood can be key. Your username makes me think you like to play with mind bending drugs that directly interfere with prefrontal cortical motivation.

Conscienciousness is the easiest dimension to change over time with incremental intervention, so yes. Trauma can also change personality, but either way you wont go from bottom 1th percentile to top 99th without the task consuming your life

No PG you are presenting speculative opinion as fact. Conscientiousness is a measured and well documented personality trait, it is also formed around age six. It also happens to be social in its construction. Software engineers typically re

ADHD is not a disability. It's an evolutionary set of traits. It is covered under the Big Five.

Similar experience with dell xps except touchpad froze intermittently. Had 2 engineer visits and two motherboards and no fix. Hilarious to think they want to throw hands with apple.

I have yet to meet someone who complains about insomnia who actually accurately follows all of the advice. Notably usually absent or poorly followed: - waking up early, at the exact same time, every day. - as SOON as you get up, you need to

You talk like its not a learned skill. Outsourcing your self discipline to a company if you do anything remotely related to tech should mean developing it is a top priority. Impulsivity is to a large degree a dimension of Extraversion, also

2 hours both ways is below average for me. I gave a conservative estimate. At my previous job it was an hour and a half. Pretty normal here in the UK if you dont live in London.

Your IQ does change over the course of your life (your crystalline IQ falls off past a certain age) but you cannot change it. Dismissing it as pseudoscience is unhelpful. Its the most accurate measure we have, its also wholly reliable for w

You cannot alter your IQ. It simply cannot be done. You can ensure you are optimally utilising your brain by giving it ideal conditions, including highly regimented consistent sleep, micro and macronutrients.

Concienciousness and Openness(creativity) can co exist, but they conflict with each other. Two classic historical examples are Picasso and I believe, Hitler.

Its very difficult to do, but possible. Requires outside help and a lot of dedication. Factors that can help on a daily basis actually include routine sleep and diet as well. No carbohydrates in the morning, only fats and proteins.

No, concienciousness is more indicative than IQ, then the rest of the factors follow IQ. Openness is highly correlated with IQ as well.

Not as much the case as you might think and the Big Five model is largely reliable. Different traits can change over time, some are easier to change than others, they are also skewed if the individual suffers from acute mental health issues
