I use Windows alongside my Mac Mini, and I would say they perform pretty similarly (but M-chip is definitely more power efficient). I don't use Slack, but I don't think anything takes 20 seconds for me. Maybe XCode, but I don'

There are a lot of things, but one warning I can give is try to avoid perfectionism. Cook some novel dish, or maybe just significantly modify your regular one with some spices. Write a blog post. Sit and think about some library you wanted

Polluting is indeed an excellent business decision. The thing about apps is that all of them are polluting, just some of them are worse than others. And we tend to fill all available resources, so over time it only gets worse.

The problem with Electron is that business-wise it is an excellent decision. You can get by with a few people to wrap the web app and integrate it with the OS, and then get updates pretty much for free. Yet for the user it is bad -- bloated

Today's world is just too exciting and there is too much to do, so I agree that kids are pretty low on a list of priorities for a lot of people. Also for the record, in the US the birth rate per woman was below 2.1 for about 50 years.

Housing is definitely in a very tough spot and causes a lot of issues among mostly young people. I do agree that it would fix a few problems, but I don't think the birth rates will meaningfully increase. It would have a bump, but overa

At least at this point it is a drop in the bucket. The issue with housing is zoning, not enough supply of affordable housing, and the singly story sprawl which makes land in proximity a bit too valuable. Granted, the last point is true even

I found this discussion quite interesting. This package is a low-level polyfill library, and is used in a lot of places (you can tell, according to github by 2,5 millions other apps/libs). However, the author does not really have any m
