Why does anyone actually care about Russia investigating Facebook? Is it surprising? They've done this with every technology that they can't control. Russia is trying to slander anyone who is accusing them of being the bad guy. Vl

A little surprising this isn't a kickstarter project partnered with Neurosky. I have a few of their headsets and I can never bring myself to get around to doing much with them. I should pull them out and give this a shot!

Informative, but these seem hazy. What is soil in the cyber world? Or is it the passport "A" is carrying? As many have indicated, unlikely anyone in the west will prosecute?

Based in the US, which law prevents you from committing cyber attacks in Russia? Genuinely curious how you would be prosecuted and how this would cause you to risk your entire career.

TikTok can definitely sway the narrative. It’s the equivalent to being retargeted by ads and perceiving something to be top of mind. TikTok can sway the public mood of its users. People on TikTok aren’t reading twittter. They’re doomscrolli

Glad you're geographically in a position where you can help. You should start a gofundme or something on here so that people can send you money to help the people you encounter.

While the trade implications of this war are being consider, let's think of the lives of our fellow hackers. These are people who along side us develop the software of the world. They're not necessarily soldiers, they're just

I believe the basic gist of this is that the person feels unfulfilled and burnt out. We all get that way after too much screentime. Take a break, get a little more balance in your life, and perhaps the desire to program will come back. Mayb

Hope your covid gets better. How does one "jump" into Pascal? I used Pascal in 1992 programming in high school on a Mac LCiii, and never really thought about it again. Do modern compilers even exist for this language? What genuine

Is the idea that you build your website out of the blocks of other websites? As in TMZ and Techcrunch both publish something and you display their little blocks on your website? Is the data dynamic? It seems like there is data, and there is

You can do it using basket ETFs. The IRS doesn't consider them "exact" replicas. So if VOO drops, you can harvest using SPY and maintain the same exposure, then switch back to VOO a month + few days later.

Yes - this is the problem with all "we know best" style platforms. Example: networking gear that supplies a dhcp server. You shouldn't have to put in the IP address range. It should just be yes or no, so no admin ever needs t

A lot of you likely invest in a boglehead style. Wealthfront was an attempt to automate that while adding some bells and whistles on top; tax loss harvesting, smart beta, etc. Curious to see how they succeed as part of UBS. I thought Marcus
