This is absolutely horrific. The path the UK is on is terrifying. On the bright side they are quite far ahead down this road compared to other Western countries, so when the UK inevitably collapses first, other governments can learn their l

How is that relevant? The salient point in the comment you quote is "they are not adapted to evolving technology and culture." It doesn't matter how clever the founding fathers were, or how much foresight they had. They could

What is wrong with you? He was asked to provide a reason why he thought Thiel was unlikable and he answered. You proceed to blatantly and outrageously twist his words. Nobody said he was evil or terrible. Don't pretend it was implied,

like the other comment, I don't see how your example of self-driving proves anything. In fact the more I think about it the more I'm confused by your comment. What are you skeptical about? Google here has demonstrated their comput

This is almost cult-like. The cult of Vitalik. What we're talking about are a slew of successful attacks in the ETH ecosystem. What we're talking about are what appear to be questionable decisions in Solidity. What do you think of

Good to know. As a new grad I couldn't really claim to have any experience, so that wouldn't have helped me. I was just commenting that these requirements were absurd, considering that the pool of people meeting them would be so s

Unfortunately there is very little here that isn't just general interview advice. As a new grad that went through the hunt very recently - it was a messy process. Very few places will consider you without extensive experience, or a mas

I believe some Roman inscriptions were found to use additive, i.e. III + I = IIII, VI + III = VIIII. Certainly I feel that nobody would look at IIII and be confused as to what it represents.

I guess I mostly had the defaults and other similarly sized subs in mind. But to me a subreddit is large and low quality when crowd-pleasing memes and joke comments bury thoughtful discussions.

Sure, that's the ultimate goal as that's how money will be made. But you need to make people buy the machine in the first place, and convenience was one of the selling points.

I don't even know how to address such a naive argument. Split the country into pieces? It doesn't take a political scientist to see how impractical this is. I didn't realize economic growth became a goal of such paramount imp
