asking because it popped into my head that I hadn't really wrote (or edited more than a few lines of) code in quite a few weeks.

i mean, i'm at a computer, most likely, not driving or anywhere else where a button i don't have to look at would be preferred. i'm also generally gadget-averse.

failing to see why someone would want this instead of just hitting a terminal command or exe or something, maybe if you have a button fetish

real engineering work is about delivering solutions, calling APIs is a small part of that.

I have nothing nice to say. This is a grift -- your book is not even tagged as AI-gen. Please stop.

anything that takes box office into account is worthless. we're talking about art here, not products. right?

it helps to be able to describe something visually with a lot of accuracy (ie, not "a button is 2px off", but "the icon for this button is too close to the text and not vertically centered", etc). it also helps to be abl

clicking a hundred times is annoying. I think you could automate the yarrow picking so I follow along visually instead of clicking. otherwise, cool. and I agree AI has no place in an app like this.

have you identified parts of your business that might be costing you users as opposed to if the product was freeware?

I find a lot of this to also be true with sole engineers managing agents. I've now seriously approached vibecoding two nontrivial projects, and in each case using "safe tools" was a good way to get to a working stage, faster:

just want something comparable to next (api layer, ssr ability, nice surface api), for a relatively simple case (oauth with ms, simple api to query other apis). I'm avoiding Next because deploying it on anything non-vercel sucks.

you mean via SSE? is any part of that an inherent "htmx only" thing, or even a "markup API only" thing? a framework using a neat piece of technology isn't really a boon for the framework -- the technology of streami

I still have no idea what benefits having your API serve markup is supposed to confer, but people tell me it's "great". also, I find your headline misleading. htmx uses javascript, there's no accessing anything "dir

I mean, the main goal would be not to have one's limbs blown off at war, I don't really care if they pay me. I'm confused... drafting has nothing to do with voluntarily enlisting.
