Take a break, travel the world, see new things, meet new people, do something different every day. You might be able to use your skills to directly help a community or be able to do some tutoring or teaching, either voluntarily or for money

Odd, I would rebase develop onto my feature, resolve conflicts which is easier as I'm dealing with my changes, then merge to eg develop. When time comes for integration I'd probably squash commit changes to the integration branch

That's the first thing I thought too re JSX or something like that, it looks like they are trying to shoehorn Java and full OO into what is basically React, replacing JSX and json with a huge pile of different classes. Over-engineering
