In Blender versioning if they are talking about single digit minor release numbers you always have to add an imaginary x at the end 2.4x branch, 2.5x branch, 2.6xbranch, ... Every time they move the first digit after the comma something maj

That seems overly harsh. Are you saying the same about vi or emacs? As soon as someone has put in the time to familiarize with the UI the speed with which you can achieve things is impressive. I've been using blender since the 2.4 bran

I Second that. I was sifting through the site but am unable to find out how much this costs. It looks good but seems to be tailored to professional news organization sized companies so it's probably quite expensive.

That is something that seems really useful. You can get your Raspberry Pi online without a minitor but it's always a bit like stumbling in the dark. I'll definitely give this a try.

I don't think that's the case here, I can see the whole shaft rotating, and also could easily touch the joints where it is connected at both ends. But the tech they are using is sometimes more than 20 years old I guess, so maybe n

That was what I was afraid of. It's another $299/year down the drain just to support a few devices. I was hoping for a way (or a hack) to at least retroactively add a UDID without going through the Archive process again (that is r

This might sound harsh, but that is something you have to deal with in life (academia or non-academia). What you were tasked to do is present your work so other people made room im their calendars to listen to your talk. Finding an error is

Who says that the simulation has to be done in realtime? Without any outside reference the NPCs inside the simulation have no way to know that one second in the simulation has taken them for example a year in real-life.

But that is something you should not get rid of in electric cars anyway. They emit already much less noise than regular cars and are thus harder to hear by pedestrians. You don't really want super silent 1ton metal blobs moving around
