Because some ads are really irritating with loud music and annoying voices, advertising things I have no use for. And they keep playing me the same 2-3 ads over and over. If they would just advertise things I was interested in, and skip

I remember gab did this for web pages but google/mozilla banned the browser extension for some reason. I always thought it was a cool idea to be able to see comments left by other people though.
