Wouldn't this still allow an adversary to build a social network of all participants? They would know: Who talked to who How often they talk When they talk How much information they exchange Their IP addresses In fact, the only they wo

I like this idea to reduce dependence on trusting any given algorithm. If I'm a global passive adversary, I would try to attack your blobs in these ways: 1) weaken your random number generators 2) guess your password by running massive

Yes, from a T/A perspective, basically everything everyone uses leaks like a sieve. A great paper about T/A: http://cryptome.org/2013/07/nsa-traffic-analysis.pdf

Ok, I can't think of an attack that could be accomplished by controlling half the traffic on the network. It doesn't mean there isn't one, but I can't think of it. I think that was a bad guess on my part.

What are the odds it's a global passive adversary sending trackable traffic through Tor to map out the network?

This is such a great idea. I love how much you've worked to ensure it takes the least number of taps possible to send feedback. One suggestion: show a meter or light or any kind of feedback that the user is being loud enough. I suspect

I suspect that basic income is a stable equilibrium given a "one person, one vote"-type of democratic system. It's in each person's best interests to vote for more wealth redistribution if they're below the average,

I have debated that with other people. If you have important evidence to solve a crime like that (missing children is a great example), the best thing to do is give your evidence to the police in as anonymous a fashion as possible, and also
