"Far superior" is quite a stretch and hootsuite has it's own advantages.

You managed to check all of their docs already? Because as far as I know greenplum doesn't have incremental aggregation.

This is a valid argument only for people who disable javascript wholesale. The lion's share of malware distribution is done by hacked sites where the attacker configured to deliver a payload only in 5-10% of pageviews in order to delay

Yeah, I'm also interested because I got very excited about the R integration too. Serverless instance for development and full in-database processing sounds very nice.\

Thanks for the answers. Really appreciated! I am analyst and I deal with databases, but in a very specific way. The way I tried to explain to myself the difference is that OLAP is used if you have a lot of fine-grained hierarchies accessed

Cloud platforms like AWS offer other things besides just scaling. Like Hadoop processing, hosted databases, email infrastructure, DNS services and the list goes on and on.

Have you even looked at statistics? I get the impression you haven't. Pandas has aggregation and that's it. I don't really like to start those language wars, but what the heck. Your precious pandas is actually worse than the

Yeah, but that's the problem. There is no way to know all the relationships. This was an obvious one, there are a lot more subtle ones. In any case, the comments have been very helpful. A gradual implementation is the only sane way to

People examine data manually in reports currently. If an item turns a profit, leave it, no yield optimization. If it's in the red, stop it. If it's around break-even, schedule it for examination to see if you can turn it green. No

The OP and the discussion is sround technical implementation, but I am interesred in the analysis part of LP. I wanted to use LP to optimize a budget but my senior coleague said that LP is just too damn hard in the real world. Is this true?
