I wonder why macOS, and not Mac OS? Do you have a mac or a Mac? Majority of posters here capitalize. Why glue an abbreviation to a product name?

I can save about 30% of traffic by optimizing content via HTTP. Can't do that with HTTPS without MITM or similar questionable practices breaking the purpose of HTTPS. While you're sitting on a 100+ Mbps DSL, somebody in the middle

And it's OK. This "HTTPS everywhere" concept is damaging. I think it should be revised. The amount of overhead and the lack of ability to optimize encrypted content for transferring over, say, satellite or other radio links,

Thanks. We're Ukrainians. Getting a long-term U.S. visa is a complete quantum chromodynamics for us, a once in a lifetime decision, perhaps. We're going to go for 3 weeks, probably this summer, to try it out (planning 2 weeks in O

Never been there, but photographs of Sydney and Melbourne I see are absolutely incredible. I wish it wasn't that far away though. It's funny to see a list of destinations and all the familiar places are ~ 20 hours flight.

I am yet to visit SD. I forgot some additional components in my "best place to live" formula. The place has to offer freedom and opportunities for artists. I am not sure if you can call it liberal or bohemian atmosphere, or that&#

Glad to see fellow Prague expat here! Thanks a lot for the insight. What made you to move to Prague? We go to PBS here, and I've found private schools in LA to be less expensive. So, I guess, this part of the equation is solved, assumi

I beg to differ. It doesn't remove that many cars, really. How often do you see a bus pass by? Every 20 minutes or so? Count how many cars pass by in the same amount of time, and some of them carry multiple passengers. (I have no probl

Quitting is actually very easy. I quit smoking with the help of four things: 1) genuine desire, 2) vaping, 3) Alan Carr's book and 4) bubblegums. These four were the critical ingredients for me. I think nobody can quit without having a
