Google has been pushing chrome on their sites for years. Firefox's drop in desktop is recent. So just marketing can't be the explanation.

As a German, I disagree with you. German's not English, even though you might prefer if it was. Others don't. It's fine that it uses the letters it ended up with historically. This change fixes an internal inconsistency, your

At the peak of JavaScript fatigue in 2013 I don't think JavaScript fatigue peaked in 2013. FTA: it is quite easy to maintain a large, flexible, well-engineered SPA with React, Vue, or other lightweight JS libraries, even at enterpri

Sounds a bit tone deaf. On the other hand, I'm not sure if there's anything else they can do at this point. They've lost the case and the appeal won't change that, but investors would be even unhappier if they didn'

You have to look at the remark in the context it was made. They were having a meeting where they presumably tried hard to make the point that they're very serious about fixing their culture. This is the only way to _maybe_ keep this be

That's cool, but it feels a bit like making sure your room is tidied up while your house is on fire -- it's not clear it's the most pressing priority. But webrtc support is cool.
