I don't blame this woman. I'm not pissed at her. I'm pissed, however, at the politicians who have created this dependency web to trap people like this woman and ensure that there will always be a need for do-gooder politicia

But she has no job in the first place or possibility to find one now with the baby - so why would that prevent her from washing/ironing?

Your comment is completely contradictory. You say the OP's comment reeks of privilege/ignorance, but you go ahead and expect government privilege in $CURRENY_YEAR. The OP was commenting that certain people leech and do not want to

Correct me if I am wrong, but the car followed the bolder line instead of a barely visible one? Could it be sunlight + concrete + bad vision of the lane line?

I saw in your other comments that you do mobile/full-stack dev - my email is on my profile and I do mainly backend dev work in Python and Elixir if you need any help.

Oh, please. Have you even read anything that OP wrote? The OP specifically said that he feels like leading the projects and adding a lot of value. 32k in euros before taxes is awful. No one will give you anything unless you ask for it. Expl

I am describing common knowledge in Balkan agriculture - in Vojvodina, Serbia, it is widely known that after harvesting sugar beets you simply can't have a solid harvest no matter what you plant for the next 5 or more years, and our la

Exactly this. For instance after sugar beet has been harvested, the land needs 5-10 years to regenerate back to proper nutrient levels and may not yield anything.

Absolutely. Decreasing the amount of time I spent on social media has increased the quality of my life by at least 10 times. Before I used to feel intimidated going to the gym, posting on my tech blog, simply because everyone else was just

Fasting is actually something I have been doing as well lately that helped me maintain (and lose a bit) my weight properly and that one meal less a day meant a lot. Do you not feel the urge to always be online when you're working from

One thing that I feel will be the key is that I won't have to worry about missing out on something before 9am or after 5pm once I leave the office, it will help me "containerize" work.

Exactly this. Building systems that work for myself has probably been one of the hardest things and is taking a lot of trial and error.

Currently the sunrise here is at 6:45-7am. I'm up between 5:45-6:00 by myself anyway, but I usually just waste that time checking email/reading HN/reddit. I will make sure to not check phone until 7am. These are my plans and

When out of the whole article you point out something that is not the focus of the article and introduce a true and undeniable fact that is (unfortunately) most often used as a way of scoring political points on the Balkan from both sides,

Why does it always have to be someone that involves politics into this? Tesla during his life said he is of Serbian origin and thinks of himself as a Serbian, even though he was born in Croatia. Don't steer it up in here too, I'd
