CVE is an invite only system, applied to just a few projects. See e.g. https://cve.mitre.org/cve/data_sources_product_coverage.html . Generally you need to know someone to get such an id. If you have a bug in some githu

Perl has a tainted mode where any outside data is marked as tainted. You can only detained it in specific ways. Copying the data from one variable to another keeps the tainted flag. Pretty much only explicit checks are able to remove the ta

That'll require GTK+3 at least. They're still using GTK+2. According to the roadmap it's scheduled for Inkscape 1.4. At the current pace it'll take years to reach 1.4 IMO. See http://wiki.inkscape.org/wik

That data is highly questionable. Suggest trying to get some quotes for the different modalities. Via ocean is cheapest by far. To deliver to the final destination the price increases in order of barge/rail/truck. I work for a shi

There's a crazy amount of containers going from China to Europe. IMO just 200 containers on one train far from not enough. Shipping by sea is NOT reliable and there are an insane amount of containers being delivered every week. I don&#

Everyone is forgetting another option. Say your factory is relying on parts delivered to you by containers. One week there's heavy storms somewhere in Asia and your containers from China aren't loaded. Currently the only option is

Not only are they more expensive, sometimes you pay about the same for the train as the entire flight. It costs me 40 EUR to go by train to a cheap airport. That airport has flights around that price! As a result, I do not usually fly from

It used to be worse is not really a good argument. If you use this reasoning the current state is good. Without being able to question the current state, improvements will be limited or none. Not accepting the current state of things is a g

It's more environmentally friendly to not drive. In Netherlands it's common to have a supermarket very close to your home (walking distance). Else you use a bike. A car is when you have a family and then you'd stock up for a

Do you have a source for that? I once asked a captain of a 14.000+ TEU vessel if they really only needed the minimum amount of crew. According to him theory and practice are vastly different. Meaning: a news article explaining that a vessel

It's not a fair negotiating position. If a company wants everyone on a non-compete, they'll be able to do so without providing any benefit for almost all employees. I've had a company try and add a non-compete to a contract.
