I believe Servo uses a particular version of Rust for 1-2 weeks, then updates to the new version. But somebody closer to the project would have to confirm that. Servo is extremely important to the language's development because it is

brson likes scatter those around. Rust's new runtime has gave me a few of when it first landed. Unfortunately I haven't seen any in quite a while. :( (I really hope some spoil-sport doesn't get rid of them)

I live at university accommodation in Australia which houses a large proportion of international exchange students. Every one of them, from France, the UK, Canada, Sweden, the US etc. has been shocked by the prices here. Some of them have e

Unfortunately 'ringing' in the ears is a sign of permanent hearing loss. The hairs in the cochlea snap. The brain eventually adapts and filters out the ringing, but the actual damage can't be reversed.

Errm, so what is the company's relationship with Musk, other than that they are both interested in high-speed transport? Seems like copy-paste PR journalism, with the company trying to get exposure by piggy-backing of his name. :/

It's been a courageous effort by strcat, pushing such ugliness on us over the 0.7 milestone, but it will certainly pay off into the future. I look forward to the new sugar!

What do you think of Mathematica? I've been toying with the idea of using it for sketching out ideas related to my computer graphics work, but it's a big investment. :/

It's also why you design the parts so that they are impossible to install upside down. No matter how clearly things are labelled, even the most experienced people will make mistakes.

A back/forward button would be enough for me. The scrollimations always work confusingly on platforms with smooth, momentum based scrolling (like OSX).

Ah dang. I don't think I was actually. I don't think I'll go back to my old account though - I have karma on this one that I'd prefer to hang on to (in case I make a stupid comment one day and get down-voted heavily).

Interesting, perhaps I wasn't. I know I tried to make a submission or two and it said 'Slow down!' all the time, and that the site was very slow. I assumed this meant I was banned.

I agree with you on that. It's a tad intimidating at first, but if you go with the flow you find it really cuts down on the noise. I'm surprised so many folks are arguing the opposite, to be honest.

Indeed, I don't think it's just a developer problem. Making stuff is haard, and the more you do it, the more you understand that. Maybe it's related to that thing that has mentioned on HN quite often lately, where the incompetent people are
