I don't really understand why they didn't reinstall my packages after forcibly removing them. Take five minutes and write the currently installed package list to a tmp file, and then install all those packages again automatically after the

I interviewed with one of the bigger org's at MS in Seattle about a month ago, they told us that they would be unable to give us feedback if we didn't receive an offer. I suppose different branches of MS could do things different? Fortunate

I also was looking for a way to select all. The fastest way I can find to do it is through the keyboard shortcuts. - Move down with "j" - Select issue with "x" - Move down with "j" ....

That product looks awfully similar to Metasploit ( http://www.metasploit.com/ ) , no? How is it different? I watched the demo video and couldn't really tell.

Just installed it, and it doesn't even open. I pretty much the exact same experience as the only review the app has as of right now ( the one star ). I like the idea, it's really cool but I have no way of trying it if it the executable won'

As a former IBM employee, you can pretty much use what ever type of machine you want for your work as long as it doesn't interfere with what you do. There is a significant Mac subculture internal to IBM, and they love and suppor it. However

The people who work on PackageKit ( http://www.packagekit.org ) have had some clients working for a while ( I think 2008ish? ). This seems like the next step to creating a main stream, awesome client.

You mentioned Github would be prohibitively expensive if you were to use it for all of your school assignments? Github actually has a program where if you tell them you are a student/professor you can get free private repo's.
