Hi HN. We made Stalemate because we wanted a dashboard which makes it easy to see the relevant pull requests and what needs doing to get them ready to merge. We've been testing Stalemate with a few companies here in the UK. It's i

I'm amazed by how much you've achieved with this project! I thought it was 2 months worth of work until I looked at your blog, but even to have managed this in spare time over a couple of years is amazing. The only thing I can thi

I did try "momentum" as a new tab for a while, but I've always found these kinds of things distracting - when you hit ctrl+T I'm not (and I suspect most are not) looking for inspiration, but I'm looking to find some

It looks like things have moved on quickly since the other year when I was more involved in this! This company does some good products, some of which are fairly easy to interface: https://www.gassensing.co.uk/products/

I've worked on environmental sensing iot projects and have seen the cost of co2 sensors. Almost all the cheap ones are VOC sensors which infer a co2 level by assuming the VOC output is from humans (rather than paint for example). Given

I was reading this thinking that security would be mentioned at some point in your response! Presumably a big benefit of smaller codebases is a more realistic possibility of auditing the security?

Yeah, you're completely right. We've designed everything else from the ground up to be for IoT, so that follows for pricing too. We're not quite ready to announce it just yet though.

OP here - we made Tavern as an internal tool at overlock, due to problems of running RESTful integration tests with postman in our CI pipelines, as well as needing to rely on a CI. What really kicked this all off was the javascript testing

I've made use of this [1] python script before for running some mail-merging type tasks with inkscape, so that could be a good starting point for anyone looking to do some fancy inkscape automation. Personally I used it to combine gene

Surely the best antidote to the 51% attack is to have a large population of nodes so that an attack would have to be prohibitively large? W.r.t. having a set of trusted nodes, that's fine, however does the blockchain add anything in th

The plan with wiki-house is that you'll be able to to draw a plan and have software generate the structure for you. A few years ago they were working on a plugin for sketch up to do that - not completely sure what happened to that!
