I do use my own extensions, that I don't distribute, for many everyday conveniences during browsing. I've reluctantly, given lack of good alternatives, stuck with Chrome for a long time; but this is the change that finally forced

It sounds like you're done messing with it; but if you're not, you can install it without the Android/Java stuff. If you let the installer start running, but deny it elevation to write to your system directories when prompted

I do agree with your point; but traffic must very quite a bit along the line. My VTA commutes are almost always full up, to standing room only, unless I go outside of the to/from-Caltrain schedule (and even then, it's almost never
